- Originated from Vera who lives in Bosnia, the seeds were passed to Carolyn Male through Vera's daughter-in-law Leslie M. Carolyn introduced this variety to SSE in the 2000s.

- Introduced in the Seed Savers 2008 Yearbook by this name by Michael Gunn of Texas (TX GU R), who obtained his seed from Mr. Hahms-Hartmann of Germany.
