History

  • An heirloom cherry tomato from France, named after The Comoros islands as the name suggests. 'Tomadose' means 'cherry tomato', and 'Comores' is a French name of the Comoros Islands, situated off the coast of Africa, which is used to be a French controlled territory, with the island of Mayotte still part of France.
  • First offered in the Seed Savers 1993 Yearbook by Bill Minkey of Darien, Wisconsin (WI MI B), who received the seeds from Norbert Parreira of Helliner, France in 1992. Listed under a misspelled name 'Tonadose Des Conores'
  • SSE TOMATO 4329.
