There is a potato leaf version of this var., which is considered by many to be a correct version. This potato-leaf version might also have been known in North America as 'Black Sea Man' (which is direct translation of the name from Russian). I have more seeds from the original source (Russia) to grow out to see if I get potato leaf plants. It would also be good to grow it side by side with Black Sea Man and compare.
