  • First offered in the Seed Savers 1994 Yearbook by Merlyn Niedens of Polo, Illinois (IL NI M), who obtained the seed from a gardener (Bill Schwitzer) in the Sterling Illinois area. It may have originally come from Norway.
  • Some SSE members list it as red, and some list it as pink (NY GO A).
  • Introduced commercially by Tatiana's TOMATObase Seeds in 2014.
