* Russian commercial var., introduced to N … * Russian commercial var., introduced to NA gardeners by Andrey Baranovsky of Minsk, Belarus, through seed exchanges with Tomatoville members in 2006-2007.
* Named after the book by Yury Olesha, [http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Short-Stories-Three-Fat/dp/0882332139 ‘Three Fat Men’].
* Introduced to SSE by Tatiana Kouchnareva (B.C KO T) and Nancy Kirch, NY (NY KI N) in 2008. Both Nancy and Tatiana received the seed from Andrey, and their observations were almost identical, but different from the original description supplied by Andrey, which said:
