Indet. plants with regular leaf foliage. Fruits are pink with yellow shoulders, slightly ruffled, round and oblate, with very good to excellent sweet flavor. 3-5 oz. Later fruits may have semi-hollow seed chambers. New introduction of this very old variety from Panama.

History

  • Very old variety from Panama.
  • PI 647116. Donated to USDA in 1935 from Panama.
  • First offered in the Seed Savers 2008 Yearbook by Norbert Pikovsky, Pennsylvania (PA PI N), who got the seeds from the USDA.
