B.C KO T

Early maturing small icebox melon, 10-12" in diameter, very thin dark green rind and red flesh. Excellent sweet taste.

History

  • Russian heritage variety 'Ogonyok'.
  • Introduced to American gardeners by SSE in 1991.

Original Russian name: Огонёк (Ogonyok). Ogonyok means 'Small Shining Light' in Russian, hence the name.
