Skunk

- Vigorous vines topple tipis and corn within weeks of planting in contrast to many other haudenosaunee beans. The slightly underproductive plants develop very large seeds which compensate for the reduced number of them. The long wide pods are frosted light purple when maturing into shelly stage, and are excellent green beans when eaten earlier on. The striking black and white markings are distinctive and unique, and the large size makes them ideal for soups.
