History

  • A stabilized unknown cross, named in honor of Sister Miriam, the great New Jersey environmentalist.
  • First introduced to SSE by Joseph Cavanaugh of Delaware, NJ (NJ CA J) in 1998, the original seed source was not indicated. This is the original description given by NJ CA J in 1998 SSE Yearbook:
" 85 days, indet., 8-14 oz., reddish-pink heart shaped fruit, strong, well-balanced sweet flavor, solid flesh with few seeds, very good production, this is a stabilized unknown cross, named in honor of Sister Miriam, the great New Jersey environmentalist."
