History
- Seed came from Nancy Shriver Ridgeway, whose family raised it for 80 years in Morgantown, Pennsylvania. According to a 1966 newspaper article on Nancy's father, he received the seeds for this variety in 1916.
- First listed in the Seed Savers 1998 Yearbook by Chuck Wyatt of Maryland (MD WY C) as a red tomato, but SSE members who subsequently grew it from Chuck's seed described it as pink.
