- Perennial herb with pretty, delicate foliage that is edible with taste resembling cucumber. Grows to 18" tall and 12" wide. Can tolerate light shade. Beautiful small purple red flowers borne in rounded heads. It will self-seed. Use young leaves in salads.

History
