History
- Seed was collected by Tanya Stefanec of Manitoba, the owner of Heritage Harvest Seed , from CJ Piatkowski. Mrs. Piatkowski's husband's Polish aunt obtained seed from a Russian lady years ago and they have been growing the variety ever since. They have always just called them ‘Russians’.
- First introduced commercially by Heritage Harvest Seed in 2011.
