Amazingly early for such a large tomato. Plants are indet., with dark green regular leaf foliage, fruits are flattened beefsteak shape that grow in clusters of 4-5. Despite the name, the fruits are actually pink - I grew this variety from two seeds sources, both of which originally obtained the seed from Seeds Trust/High Altitude Gardens . The fruits are 9-12 oz, consistently large and uniformly shaped, with very nice sweet flavor, meaty but also juicy, just perfect for salads and sandwiches. Fruit color is pink despite the name.

• Russian heirloom variety from Siberia. Original Russian name is not known.
• Collected by Bill McDorman of Seeds Trust/High Altitude Gardens in his 1989 seed gathering trip to Siberia (?).
• Listed in Seed Savers Exchange Yearbook in RED section.
