History

  • Originally from Cluj, Transylvania, Romania.
  • Many Hungarians live in Romania and the name Puszta means 'prairie' in Hungarian. 'Kolosz' it the Hungarian name for Cluj.
  • First offered in the Seed Savers 2007 Yearbook by Michael Gunn of Pasadena, Texas (TX GU R), who got seeds from Manfred Hahm-Hartmann, Germany.
