A midseason indeterminate variety, high plant with regular leafs. The fruits are slightly flattened round almost smooth, weight 2 oz. unripe fruit is green with dark brindle around the stopwatch ripe fruits are red. Highly fertile variety with fruits resistant to cracking, very good fruit flavors (taste similar to Stupice).

History

  • Very old heirloom variety.
  • Slava Poryni is a selection of Rheinlands Ruhm, a tomato of German origin, a cross of Geisenheimer x Lucullus). Approved in Czechoslovakia in 1941. (EU catalogue).
  • It is one of the parents of Stupice.
