Missouri Gold

- Small oval shaped fruits with pale rind, 1-3 lb. Sweet orange flesh, good yields. Unfortunately fruits did not mature in our cool summer of 2012, and I failed to save seeds.

Location: Zone 7b, PNW, Anmore, BC, Canada (760 ft above sea level)
History
- An heirloom from 1840s from Southern Missouri, grown by the same family (Neibrugge) since the 19th century.
- Joseph Borris of Tentopolis, Illinois, purchased the seed in 1970s and has been growing the melons since.
