The name can be translated as 'Favorite Holiday', 'Favorite Party', or 'Favorite Celebration'.

History

  • Russian commercial var.
  • Introduced to North American gardeners by Andrey Baranovski of Minsk, Belarus in 2007. Andrey's original description indicated that it is a large pink beefsteak (up to 1 lb), but all the SSE members who grew it from Andrey's seed observed 6-10 oz medium fruit.
  • First listed at SSE by two members, Tatiana Kouchnareva (B.C KO T) and Nancy Kirch, NY (NY KI N) in 2008.

  • Среднеспелый, до 1500 гр, сердцевидной формы, розовый, 0,8м-1,2м. Этот достаточно низкорослый сорт поражает величиной крупных, мясистых, выровненных плодов.
