History

  • Kentucky heirloom; original seed from Mrs. Miller of New Jersey, who was originally from Kentucky. The seeds said to have been passed down in the Adams family and named Lincoln because of the era.
  • Some SSE members got the seed from Thomas Venleir, New Jersey, 2008, who got them from Mrs. Miller, New Jersey.
  • First introduced in Seed Savers 2009 Yearbook by Neil Gillard of Ontario, Canada (ONT GI N), Carolyn Male of Salem, New York (NY MA C), and Al Anderson of Troy, Ohio (OH AN A).
