History
- This variety was brought to the Cleveland, Ohio in the 1960s from the Campobasso Province of Italy by Donaldo Morganti. Mr. Donaldo Morganti gave seeds to a business partner named Libby who in turn gave the seeds to Carl Skalak who named the variety 'Libby's Pride'.
- Introduced commercially by Victory Seed Company in 2011.
- First offered in the Seed Savers 2010 Yearbook by Carolyn Male of Salem, New York (NY MA C), who received the seeds from Dan Misztal of Ohio in 2009.
