History
- According to Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds Seed Catalog, this is "An heirloom that is sometimes seen being sold along the road in rural Northern Georgia, in the Nantahala Forest region. "
- First introduced in Seed Savers 2008 Yearbook by Al Anderson of Troy, Ohio (OH AN A); original seed from Gary Millwood, Louisville, Kentucky. Al listed it as 'pink'.
- Introduced commercially by Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds and Southern Exposure Seed Exchange in 2009.
