History

  • This tomato was named for the Agricultural Extension Service Agent, Arvo Kallio, that brought the seed back from Alaska in the mid 1950s. Mr. Kallio gave seeds to a friend, who kept the strain alive and gave some trial seeds to Terroir Seeds , who introduced it in their 2011 Seed Catalog.
