Indet., regular leaf, medium-large yellow cherry fruit. When immature, fruits have some faint striping similar to gooseberries, hence the name. Taste is good, sweet and mild.

History

  • According to William Woys Weaver, PA, it may be the same cherry that was illustrated in Album Vilmorin, Plate 19 (1868). Heirloom.
