History

• US variety, which reportedly traces down to Jacob Hardman in Indiana and goes back to the 1920s.
• First introduced in the SSE 1992 Yearbook by Stephen D. Earp of Bettendorf, Iowa (IA EA S), who purchased the seed at CV To2 in 1991. The original description offered by Stephen Earp said:

"Late indet., bright-green flesh, green skin tinged with amber when ripe, some fruit from parent stock showed tendency toward red, CV To2 91."
