- Cherry tomatoes in clusters of 5 to 7 on productive, healthy vines; average growth. Fruit turns indigo where sun hits the skin, even when unripe, giving the plant a striking grapevine appearance. Ripe fruit is gold with indigo smudge on skin, occasionally with slight pink blush. Average size is 0.35 oz (10 g). Flesh is juicy; flavor is strong, traditional tomato taste, less sweet than most cherries, with a dry finish, although I did get a few sweet ones.
