History
- First introduced in the Seed Savers 1992 Yearbook by Robert F. Klein of Livonia, Michigan, who got the seed from the Master Gardener Ed Hughes, MI in 1991. Mr. Klein noted in his SSE listing that the variety originated from a 1800 Scottish settler.
