History

  • Russian commercial variety introduced in the early 2000s.
  • Dobrynya Nikitich is one of the three famous 'bogatyrs' (Alesha Popovich, Ilya Muromets, and Dobrynya Nikitich) in Russian folklore. See [1] for details.
  • There are three Russian tomatoes named after each 'bogatyr', and this is one of them.

  • "Этот признанный фаворит одарит Вас чудесными плодами сердцевидной формы! Для пленочных теплиц и открытого грунта. Среднепоздний сорт. Куст высокорослый, требует подвязки, стебель над 8-10 кистью прищипывают. Плоды розовые, мясистые, массой более 200 г. Прекрасные вкусовые качества. Салатного назначения. Сорт обладает повышенной устойчивостью к болезням."
