B.C KO T

Large oval melons with green/yellow skin and salmon pink flesh, very sweet. I was very surprised that it matured in our PNW climate, but I grew it in a cold frame that was closed for the most part of our cool summer. I can only imagine how sweet it can get in hotter and drier climates!

Seed source:

1. Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds 05
2. Red Apple Market 06

Year grown: 2009 (crop failure), 2010, 2011 (1)

Location: Zone 7b, PNW, Anmore, BC, Canada (760 ft above sea level)

History
