History

  • It may be the same tomato as Chuck's Red, which originated from a volunteer plant in Charles Estep's (CA ES C) garden in the late 1980s. Charles Estep first offered it through SSE Yearbook in 1990, and it is now maintained and offered by IA SSE HF.
  • Chuck's seeds seem to have originated from NJ BR J 92, but I was not able to find a matching SSE entry for the original listing in the SSE 1992 Yearbook.
