Indet. plants with regular leaf foliage. Small plum shaped red fruits, cherry size. Excellent full flavor with nice sweet touch. Excellent for farmers market, as fruits remain firm and fresh after picking. No cracking. (12 seeds / packet)

History

  • First offered in the Seed Savers 1999 Yearbook by Meilie Moy-Hodnett of Rockville, Maryland (MD MO M), seeds saved from a tomato from an unknown catering source.
  • Alternative names started to appear for this variety in the late 2000s and early 2010s. Mini Roma was listed by Al Anderson of Troy, Ohio (OH AN A) in 2007 SSE Yearbook, seeds from Gary Millwood. Baby Roma was commercially offered by Solana Seeds in 2014.
