History:
- Pat Cici of Michigan brought his family heirloom tomato seeds with him when he immigrated to the US as a teenager. Pat's neighbour, Joe Rarus, shared the seeds with Jeff Casey of Casey's Heirloom Tomatoes of Airdrie . Joe said that he named this tomato after Pat’s hometown of Casino, Italy.
- Tatiana's note: There is no Casino town in Italy. Perhaps it was a misspelled 'Cassino'?
- First commercially offered by Casey's Heirloom Tomatoes of Airdrie in 2012.
