- C. maxima. Dark green turban-shaped fruits 8-12" in diameter, 2-5 lbs, with thin rind, slight ribs accentuated by light gray stripes, and distinctive blossom end button. Very sweet orange flesh, very good and early producer in PNW. It is amazingly tasty and productive.
