History
- Fedco Seeds received seed from Annette Smith of Blue Beech Farm in Danby, Vermont, and have named the variety in honor of her farm. Mrs. Smith got the tomato from her neighbor’s niece’s uncle who brought it to Vermont from Italy during World War II.
- According to Fedco Seeds seed catalog, this tomato has been acclimated in chilly Vermont for the last 50 years, so it is better adapted to cold climates than Roma.
