History

  • First introduced commercially by Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds in 2008. According to the Baker Creek Seed Catalog, this tomato was collected by Jere Gettle in a farmers' market in San Ignacio, Belize in Central America ([1]).
  • First introduced in SSE 2009 Yearbook by Bill Minkey of Darien, Wisconsin (WI MI B) and Neil Lockhart of Oblong, Illinois (IL LO N). Both Bill and Neil received the seeds from Jere Gettle.
