History
- First offered in the Seed Savers 1998 Yearbook by Curtis D. Choplin of Augusta, South Carolina (SC CH C), who obtained the seed from Aziz Nael, France in 1996.
- Some sources say that this tomato originated from Indonesia, probably because of the name. Bali is a province/island in Indonesia, which has been a tourist heaven for many decades.
- There is also a F1 hybrid variety with the same name.
