History

• Originally from a village in Tamil Nadu, India in 1997.
• First introduced in Seed Savers 2008 Yearbook by Michael Ford of California (CA FO M). Michael received the seed in 1997 from honorary nephew Arumugam's family who have a small rice farm in a village about 10 miles inland from Karaikal.
