History
- According to Vent Marin, this variety originated in the USA. However, some sources also indicate that it may have Russian origin, and although we do not have a proof, we find this version more likely to be correct, given the fact that this variety was named after the famous Polish singer of German and Dutch origin, Anna German. Anna German was very popular in Russia in the 1970-80s.
