  • It seems that this variety originated from Al Anderson of Troy, Ohio, who introduced it in the Seed Savers 2007 Yearbook. Al Anderson said that he got seeds from John Siegel, Ohio, in 2002 and that 'it was a surprise from seeds sent by Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds '.
