History * Developed in the 2006-2012 by the member * Developed in the 2006-2012 by the members of the [http://nctomatoman.weebly.com/dwarf-tomato-project-introduction-and-information.html Dwarf Tomato Project] from a cross between [[Golden Dwarf Champion]] and [[Green Giant]], made in 2005 by Patrina Nuske Small in Australia. The tomato originated as a selection of Summertime Gold 3 (which was selected and named by David Lockwood), found and named by Craig in 2007 after his wife, Susan (who loved the tomato and is very sweet!) * Primary work on Dwarf Sweet Sue was done by Craig LeHoullier (Raleigh, North Carolina), David Lockwood, Patrina Nuske Small (Australia), Michael Volk (Texas), and Susan Anderson (Texas), with additional help from Russell Pietzch (Australia), Stephanie Gernert, Martha Hufford, Ruth TenBrink, Paul Fish, and Carol Knapp (Wisconsin). * Ted Maiden of LaFollette, Tennessee did the finalizing work and seed propagation for release in 2012. * [[vendor::Heritage Tomato Seed|'' '']] [[Heritage Tomato Seed]] '' '' introduced the variety in 2012. * This variety is now associated with the [http://osseeds.org/ Open Source Seed Initiative (OSSI)] ** [http://osseeds.org/ The OSSI Pledge] - "''' ''You have the freedom to use these OSSI seeds in any way you choose.
