History

  • The seeds were sent to Tatiana Kouchnareva (B.C KO T) by Marina Popova, Karaganda, Kazakhstan in 2010 as a 'no-name' variety, with a description "Chernye" , which mean 'black' in Russian. Tatiana named this tomato Marina's Black to honor the seed source.
  • Introduced commercially by Tatiana's TOMATObase Seeds in 2016.
