Indeterminate, regular leaf, Large golden beefsteak. Ripens from green to yellow to gold. Meaty center surrounded with seed locules. Midseason, prolific producer. Will continue to set fruit all the way to frost. Wonderfully mild but old fashioned taste. This tomato was raised in family gardens for years in Southwestern Virginia and dates back to at least the early 1950's. Almost lost recently, but 22 year old seed revived and saved in 2009. Planted in in-ground garden in 2010 and had excellent production.
