History
- An old Hungarian heirloom named by Ted Corbett of Germany. Mr. Corbett had gotten seedlings from a coworker (Mr. Kiss) who is a first generation American from Hungary, who obtained the seed from his Hungarian relatives who live by Lake Balaton in Hungary. Mr. Kiss said they have been growing the tomato since the 19th century.
- First offered at Seed Savers 2009 Yearbook by Ted Corbett of Germany (GERM CO T).
- Introduced commercially by Gleckler Seedmen in 2010.
