Long-day type. Very beautiful long bottle shaped purple/red bulbs. Mild and sweet flavor, perfect for fresh use. Can be planted in either spring or fall in milder climates (i.e., PNW). 100-120 days from transplant. One of my favorite onions for eating fresh.
