A note to our customers (November 13, 2011)

My dear customers,

This has been a very challenging year for me and my garden. The health issues and challenging weather did not allow me to collect and offer many new varieties or restock my seed supply this year. Therefore, I may be running out of seeds for some popular varieties, so please order early.

The winter squashes are still curing, and I will be adding some new squash seeds to the catalog in December/January. The new varieties are: Buttercup (Burgess), Lady Godiva, Mayoral Blue, and Rouge Vif d'Etampes. We already sampled Buttercup, and it was absolutely delicious, both stewed and baked.

I am also very proud to offer the newly released dwarf varieties from the Tomato Dwarf project: Iditarod Red, Yukon Quest, Sleeping Lady, and Perth Pride. The stock is limited, so please hurry!
