Tatiana Kouchnareva (B.C KO T). Banana Cream - sliced fruit. 2012-09-17.

B.C KO T

Early to mid-season. Compact sprawling plant with wispy regular foliage and soft branches, 2-2.5' tall, best caged, or it can be grown in pots. Small 1-2 oz fruits shaped like a torpedo, fruits have creamy yellow color when ripe. In 2011, it was the second variety to mature fruit after Matina, and in 2012 it was the first non-cherry tomato to set fruit. I am usually not expecting much of a taste from white or yellow tomatoes, but I was pleasantly surprised with the first fruit of the season - it had a nice mild flesh complemented by an acidic 'bite' of the gel. It is quite a heavy producer.
