Talk:Grandma Viney's Yellow and Pink

From Tatiana's TOMATOBase

I have been growing out my original seed source (from IL LO N) for 2 years now and am still getting about 10% solid pink fruits along with the true-to-type bi-colors. All plants have been isolated in a greenhouse or bagged so there is no chance of cross contamination and seeds saved and replanted from the first year were from bagged bi-color fruit only. If anyone is growing a stabilized strain of Grandma Viney's Yellow and Pink I'd like to know about it. This tomato is excellent and, if not stable, worth spending the effort to make it so. The pink strain is also great tasting and I'm working to isolate it. If anyone has already isolated the pink strain, please post here. -Steve --Heritage 02:53, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
