History

  • This cross, between Marianna's Peace and SunGold F1, is a results of one of the first crosses ever made by Millard Murdock of East Flat Rock, North Carolina. That cross resulted in a regular leaf tomato called Sweet As Linda. Sweet Linda is a potato leaf version that came from the regular leaf Sweet As Linda.
  • Named by Millard Murdock in honor of his wife, Linda.
  • Introduced commercially by Heritage Tomato Seed in 2013.
