History
- Developed at the Morden Experimental Farm in Manitoba, Canada. Released in 1963.
- PI 302990. Donated to USDA in 1964 from Canada.
- USDA description:
- Plant determinate, compact, small, 12 in. high by 22 in. spread. Fruiting clusters on strong branches near center of plant. Fruit uniform green changing to orange red, smooth, ovate, small blossom scar, 7 ounces. Flesh signal red (R.H.S.), locules many, small moderate seed quantity, flavor pleasant fresh and canned. Yield greater than Morden BB3. Midseason. Widely adapted in southern Canada.
