History

  • This is not a true Shah variety, which is considered to be a sport of Mikado that was released for a brief period by Henderson. In Craig LeHoullier's opinion, the true Shah would likely be closer to Yellow Brandywine, Aunt Gertie's Gold or Elbe in plant habit, fruit color and fruit size. Craig believes that the SSE listings of Shah being a smaller, yellow/white tomato are erroneous.
