History

  • A French tomato variety that was first cultivated in 1969. It is noted for its crop resistance to salt water in the soil. 'RAF' stands for 'Resistente A Fusarium' or resistance to Fusarium. This variety is very popular for greenhouse crops in Almeria, Spain.
  • The seed was sent to Gary Ibsen of TomatoFest by Antonio Romero, manager of Romero Seeds in Montijo, Spain who also grows TomatoFest seeds for his customers in Europe.
