  • Originated from France.
  • A cross of Ananas and Rose de Berne, developed by Mr. Michel Berthier Décines in the Rhone and stabilized in 1982. This variety is now maintained by Mr. Berthier's son, Sébastien Berthier Maraîcher Douévas at St. Bartholomew Vals in the Drôme in France.
  • The name means 'Grandfather's Grapefruit' in French.
